I booked 2 nights and extended a few nights more because of the hospitality of staff and the beauty of Vang Vieng. Being a solo traveler, it was a great place and privacy, there were many friendly guests who loved this guesthouse, and we shared a lot of experiences together on the second balcony. The bedroom was very clean. It is easy to grab some drinks and foods nearby, good location. I could reserve a tuktuk driver to some of the best lagoons from lobby, the guy there was so friendly, named Tom, ask him if you any requests or any help.

Basic guesthouse but valuable stay for sure. Centrally located in Vang Vieng and quiet at night. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. He took my things to my room and took care of our stay with many good recommendations. I could work in room with high-speed internet instead of going to internet cafe Comfy bed in a nice view bedroom Will return soon and highly recommend

I had an amazing stay at Sunset Nam Ngum Resort! This charming lakefront hotel offers comfy rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is incredibly responsive to every request, he truly goes above and beyond! Kayaking on the lake was a highlight—absolutely breathtaking! Plus, the two friendly dogs on the property added an extra touch of warmth. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I can’t recommend Sunset Nam Ngum Resort enough!
