This place is an absolute gem easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in around Laos infact the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Asia the staff are amazing from the young lady that cleans to the young man that puts away your scooter safely every night and the owners are just wow so helpful so nice they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect I’m absolutely in love with this hotel and will be back in January without a doubt if your looking for a beautiful hotel that is better in reality than in the pictures go here the value for money and the service is nothing short of perfection

The hotel is charming, in a wonderfully restored villa with quirky architectural details. The room was spacious, quiet and the bed very comfortable but the best thing was the staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and help with anything I needed, they were really amazing, particularly Phout who accompanied me to buy an extra suitcase. The breakfasts were varied and delicious with a great choice of local dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are going to Luang Prabang.

I've been to Luang Prabang many times before, staying in various hotels with a much higher price tag than this. However, I really enjoyed Villa Merry, due to it's location (right next door you have a few great restaurants, such as & Koji, Comma coffee, Pizza place, Zurich Bread, etc.), immaculate cleanliness, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and beautiful views on Puxi hill and a mountains on another side. Complementary breakfast was fine too, we would get eggs and fresh fruit with a coffee every morning. Mr Sam who is the owner of the place, is such a pleasant host. He speaks very good English and would help us out when we needed. I will definitely be back here, it's a great value for money.

- Villa Phathana Hotel is a great place to stay to enjoy Luang Prabang. The room was very nice, spacious and extremely clean. Most importantly staff owner Ben went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. -They also helped arrange a trip to Kuang Si waterfall, and introduced me to Luang Prabang tourist attractions. We stayed one more night. -I will recommend my friends about the hotel in Luang Prabang which is the best. -Thank you very much

The location is very close to the night market and very close to the street with the best places to eat. The property is really nice and reminds me of an old Dutch house that's been converted. Its clean and the beds are so comfortable definitely the best night's sleep I've had in Laos. The owner went above and beyond with our requests for train tickets and showed us things to do when here. If you want a good night's sleep within walking distance to the main areas for a quality price I highly recommend this place. I ended up extending for another night as I was so comfortable here.
