The guesthouse is an amazing place to stay if you want to experience the stunning nature Shikoku has to offer around Niyodagawa and Ochi. Takao and his wife are wonderful hosts who will make sure you have an amazing time and are willing to help you out with everything you need to know about the area. Maki-san was really friendly. Upon greeting, she showed me around the building. As I came late, I was planning to make a 30 minute walk to Kochi castle. Maki-san told me she was going around the area and offered me a ride which I'm truly grateful for. Bunk beds are large and have small shelves to keep items close. Absolutely loved how the walls, bed frames and literally almost everything was made of wood. A very warm feeling. Walkable from Kochi station, it's location is also convenient

The host is a friendly and lovely lady who does her best to keep the guest house clean and running smoothly. She lived in a house next door and seemed to rather overwhelmed running the guest house by herself. We liked our room, though it was snug with our three futons and bags. We stayed two rainy nights.

the place is right in middle of the town so everything was close and walkable. the hostel itself was small but still had everything I needed. had a comfortable stay and Wi-Fi worked well.
