Very beautiful, clean guesthouse that was renovated from an old japanese home. The owners are both very kind and went out of their way to make my stay as nice as possible. You can tell that they really care about this place! Aso station (startpoint for the tour bus) can be reached in around 20 mins with bus or train. At night it is quiet and even in the summer surprisingly cool. I highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Aso!

This guesthouse is amazing! The room is very big and comfortable. It is quiet. I could hear frogs at night. Everything is clean, you can use the laundry machine for free. There is rice and noodles in the common area for a small fee and free coffee and tea. On top of that, the owner gives plenty of information about hiking Aso volcano. Highly recommended!

We arrived quite late and Shinya was so kind to wait for us & greet us during our arrival and gave us a box of his mom homemade chiffon cake. The instruction given in the message was clear and easy for check in. The kitchen cottage was the best place for our chit chat session during our stay.
