The room was very spatious, and the forniture was modern and looked newly renovated. The host was absolutely welcoming and we felt at home. There was a beautiful terrace, where we could relax in the evening.

Danilo is the guy who welcomed us. He was amazing. Extremely friendly and positive person. Helped us with taxi for our return and was very welcoming. Thank you, Danilo! The location is very good, right next to the old city and the Sassi but still in the modern part.

The staff were incredibly kind - they upgraded our ‘cave’ at no cost. He also did an excellent job to make sure we were comfortable. The location was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we had planned was a 2-10min walk. No parking provided but the garage they suggested was close by. The room exceeded all my expectations. I also enjoyed that we got to select what we wanted for breakfast and had it delivered to our room. Mattress was also very comfortable. Made for a very special weekend.

Perfect location in the historic center of Matera. We were in contact with the host and received directions for check-in and parking. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything is very close - the pedestrian area and the restaurants. We will be back again! Highly recommend!

The room was at a exceptional position, just 3mins walking from the Old City. Room was very clean , and minimal decorated. Very clean bathroom , with supplies included. Breakfast super fresh and delicious!

Here's the edited review: Our stay at Le Dimore Dell’Idris was truly magical, even if it was just for one night. The location was perfect for exploring the enchanting Sasso and immersing ourselves in its unique atmosphere. The accommodations were impeccable, with everything looking neat and fresh. In addition, the host was extremely helpful in making restaurant reservations for us. If you're planning to arrive by car, we highly recommend following the host's recommendations and not entering the Sasso zone. Instead, park outside Sasso on the street, it is not far from the hotel, or in the private parking lot further away (which the host can organize a transfer for). Unfortunately, we did not heed the host's advice and now are waiting for a fine to come. Don't make the same mistake we did!
