We are a family of three staying with Floating Paradise for 4 days. It's been an incredible experience! If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-track and relaxing stay, this is you destination. The owners Tono and Astrid are going out of their way to accommodate you and so will the kind staff. Upon arriving, we received an upgrade to the newly built family room, which features two separate rooms within the bungalow. Kayaking is free and great fun to explore the nearby mangroves, the small island ahead and Bobby Beach on the other side of the laguna. Snorkeling is fantastic here, as the coral reef can be found literally outside the bungalows. On the second day, we went on a boat trip to other islands, where we snorkelled at multiple gorgeous locations and ate lunch on a pristine and remote island - it was such an amazing day! The third day, Astrid took us onto a fun hike which rewarded us with breathtaking views over the island, ending at Bukit Love viewpoint. We also took advantage of Astrid being a certified Yoga teacher, having yoga lessons right by the dock as the sun set over the laguna - you really can't beat this setting. Our final day marked the end of Ramadan, so the entire family went out of their way and took us to town for a fun parade organized by the island community. A truly memorable experience! Thanks a bunch for your hospitality, we are leaving the island refreshed and with much love in our hearts.

We stayed at Karimunjannah’s house for a total of 11 nights, and it was by far our favourite place. Chris and his wife are incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay—both were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The location is ideal: just a five-minute scooter ride from the town centre and close to all the best beaches. Excellent value for money, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended! Thank you for making our time so enjoyable!

The accommodation was impeccable, with a comfortable bed and a refreshing hot shower that was a welcome respite from the tropical heat and humidity. The AC worked flawlessly, providing a cool and comfortable sanctuary during the hot and muggy days. We LOVED our stay at the Loyal Friend Hostel. The hostel is cosy, there's plenty of space to chill and having breakfast in the morning on the terrace is just perfect. The room is clean, the bed is good and there's fresh mountain water coming out of the shower. Jahe, the hostel manager, is amazing and will help you with anything like renting scooters, booking snorkel tours or transport. We stayed 1 week in the hostel, but we could easily spend months here! Location is perfect: close to the harbour and main road with loads of places to have local or western food or coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Loyal Friend Hostel!!

This is one of a kind place. The villas are wonderful, made of traditional Javanese carved wood with very comfy bed and modern and spacious bathroom. The whole structure is very clean and the view from the upper villas is stanning. Food delicious, but what makes the difference is the owner and the staff. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without their precious tips on the island and their practical support on anything. Also, the strategic position makes it perfect to enjoy the beaches, hang out in the small city center and deep dive in stargazing nights.
