This guest is located right next to a Svan tower in a cool part of the district. The owner was so helpful and informative, he is really the epitome of a great guesthouse owner. The cafe has outstanding food, (in a country of great food.). I would love to come and stay here again. The number one guesthouse in all the Svaneti.

Room is clean and comfortable. It is a traditional building which runs by a family. They are really nice and helpful. They can prepare georian dinner and breakfast as request with reasonable price. They can also offer day tour such as horse riding, and transportation to/from Mestia. It is worth to spend a night to stay in Ushguli rather than half day tour. They have many rooms so it's good for group of friends or a big family.

Amazing to be able to stay in a 12th century house in the middle of the unesco world heritage site. Felt transported back in time. But that isn’t the highlight at this amazing spot. The family was incredible. So welcoming and professional and warm. The mom cooked with heart and the results were delicious and plentiful. The kids were great at English and fun to chat to to learn about life in this area. The dad is a carpenter and dedicated to preserving local history. He can also drive you back to mestia. A highlight on our trek from mestia to ushguli for sure.

Very quiet location where you can hear the running river right behind the guesthouse, yet just a very brief walk to everything else. Very kind and gracious hosts, and this was certainly the absolute best home-cooked food I've had in my Georgian travels.

Nora is a great host. The property is a simple old house, clean and comfortable as you are at your home. Tea and coffee is free. Dinner and breakfast were great, with a taste of svaneti. Homemade cheese and khachapuri by Nora were really delicious. The location is very nice just in front of Shhkhra summit. She organized marshtutka which came to the door of the guest house. The price is affordable.

Great location at the upper end of Ushguli, and our room faced right towards the church and the mountains. One of the van drop offs is at the restaurant about 50m away, which was convenient. The family and staff were very welcoming and were also able to arrange a horseback riding trip to the glacier after we arrived in the morning. Dinner and breakfast are available for an additional price. We had both and they were both excellent. The milk and cheese come from their own cows that they have right there. The room worked great too. Having the private bathroom was very nice. No issues with the temperature like some people have mentioned.

    A great experience and excellent value for money. The host family is very kind and welcoming. The guesthouse is a fascinating, traditional building with its own Svan tower that you can climb for a look round! The dining room is really charming and cosy, and the food was genuinely among the very best we ate in Georgia! Thanks!
