Cosy , clean an welcoming. Lovely nite for new year watching the fireworks over the water at harwich from our balcony. Had a nice meal there too , very friendly staff.

Lovely staff in a characterful inn, pub, restaurant near the water. I booked the small room that came with a warning so was prepared. The bathroom was spacious for the size of the room, and it was clean enough for this germaphobe. There's a small fridge in the common area with additional water and coffee supplies. I had a night ferry to the next day, and they kindly held my luggage all day while I went out exploring. Highly recommend!

The breakfast included was very comprehensive. I didn't take advantage of the payable option for a cooked breakfast but based on the evening meal it would be very good. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you need for an excellent stay. Bathroom very clean and well supplied. The evening bar meal was very good with plenty of choice. Service excellent.

located a 15/20 walk from centre of town /Ipswich town fc , very comfy bed , exceptional facilities , inc plug socket that had USB port to charge your phone ; handy as id forgotten my charger !!! if i’m ever in need of an overnight stay in that area i would definitely book again
