Great countryside getaway. Very welcoming by Lauren, nice touch the homemade treats to bring to your room. Room nicely finished, spotless clean, loved the complimentary toiletries. Had a delicious eve meal and breakfast was equally as delish, lovely choices all round.

We had a chat with staff who were so polite and informative about the location, the room was exceptional having a lovely au suite which was very clean, in all the room was very comfortable, The food was so delicious plenty on the menu to choose from, I had the steak cooked to my preference and it was to die for. meeting all our expectations .We could not fault The Woolly Sheep at all. It was Great value for money a huge Thankyou we will be seeing you again . And No you don't need to appear on 3 in a bed , it does so well on it's own ! Well worth the drive from Liverpool x

The light in both the room and the bathroom, the wide windows you can actually open (not to take for granted nowadays), the roomy shower, the smell of the provided soaps/body lotion, the comfortable bed, the many pillows, the breakfast, the location. I hadn’t got the cooked breakfast, will do next time, was very happy and staff were very friendly. Will stay there again. So very central and the bus and train station were not far to walk. Had a lovely stay.
