Red Lion Inn really made an impression on me. It was so incredibly cozy--my room was a tiny attic room, and yet I had everything I needed, and enjoyed snuggling up there. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinners even more, the latter when it got nice and lively at night by the fire. This place is everything you want an English countryside inn to be.

We are very pleased to have found The Kingham Pllough. Located a 10-minute drive southwest of Chipping Norton, it is a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds. With nicely appointed comfortable rooms, a terrific restaurant, and complimentary onsite parking, it ticks all the boxes for country pub accommodation. Two of the Plough’s six rooms are also dog-friendly.

The room was super cosy and comfortable. Some great food options in the pub, especially the included continental breakfast. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved our night here and wished we stayed longer!
