The staff absolutely raised this place to another level. Nothing was too much trouble. Claire deserves a BIG shout out. She guided us through a moderate medical concern, explaining how NHS works. The bar is welcoming and the suppers are very good. I was just sad we hadn't had a few extra nights. Globe very nicely placed in town if you are on foot too.

Warm room and ability to open a window to let a fresh air in. Appreciated a comfortable bed, so had a good night sleep. Bathroom was clean and hot water worked straight away. Friendly staff and cosy quiet bar area. Location: just 5-10 minutes away from the city/town centre itself.
