What a unique place to stay! The house dates from the 15th century and is literally on postcards of Dinan. The owners, Alina and Dominique, were wonderful, friendly hosts who brought us a delicious breakfast every morning and gave us plenty of tips on what to do in the area. They also happen to own Epicerie Fine Saint-Yves downstairs (which is where you should check in) and give all guests a discount on products. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a pleasure to wake up every morning in a historic neighborhood. The location is very central, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. (Tip if you have a rental car: the designated parking lot for guests is P0 at the Parking Centre Historique on Rue Victor Basch; we accidentally went to P1 at first, which is always full.)

The property was perfectly located just outside of Dinan and super easy to find. Our hostess was gracious and very helpful, and the breakfast has been the best we have had in any B&B in France to date. The room was clean, with a lovely outlook over the forest, and quiet and private.
