I had a great room with 2 balconies, bathroom was clean, bed was good. It had AC and heater. Located in a center of Cercedilla, around 10-15 min walk from train station. Staff was quite welcoming. Also there a good restaurant in the hostal. I was very happy with my stay.

Location - breathtaking, unique and quiet; it's high on the mountain in the forest, far from civilization. Room - unusual, fun and comfortable; it's an old monk/nun room, but with all modern amenities. Staff - polite and helpful; the hotel is a real monastery, where most of the people are monks, and you can hear them praying and doing their job. Food - authentic and delicious; for 15 euros I got a 3 course meal (2 meals and a dessert) with wine and water, all ingredients were fresh and the food traditional. Overall it's like entering a different world - unforgettable and totally worth it!

Beautiful room and very clean. The only thing was that the loo had a small mark of poo from the previous hosts I’m guessing. But any other than that it was an excellent experience.
