My favorite place to stay on my way from Amsterdam to Berlin or other places in Germany. Just behind the border in a beautiful, green area. Very quiet, with nice rooms, free parking and a fantastic breakfast: A lot of fruits, müesli, yoghurts, delicious German "Brötchen" (bread), eggs, cheese. For vegetarians also really enough choices. The people are so kind, and it's such a lovely place that I definitely want to go back there at my next German trip or holidays. Schüttorf is also worth a visit (Dutch and German infornation is available at the reception), and in summer a dive in the Quendorfer See is a highlight for the whole family, with the nice restaurant "Else am See" for really good food and drinks.

This family-run guest house is located in an old waterworks building in Bad Bentheim, just an 8-minute walk from Bentheim Castle. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

A lovely find! Very friendly owners and the property was in a quiet location but close to the centre of town. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and great value. All in all, a great stay.

Super easy to check in, all automated, super cool that there is a snack machine at the entrance, very cozy and comfy room, spacious living room and well-equipped, smaller kitchen. Bathrooms were modernised and really good. Shutters to keep light out. Would book again. Location super great if a relative is in the nearby rehabilitation clinic for orthopedics, etc.. Lovely surrounds, in the middle of nature. Horses, cycling, walking, ...
