Pleasant enough for a one night stop and some exploration of the countryside. Off the main route from Berlin to Hamburg but all the better for it. Nothing spectacular but recommended nonetheless.

The location was marvelous for my needs: I need a quiet place to spend a restful night at, and this hotel is in a small village to the north of Berlin with a half-hour travel time to get to my place of work. The landlady is the daughter of a real Norman (from Normandy), who unfortunately died one and a half years ago. He had furnished the dining and bar room with solid-wood chairs from France; the walls sported beautiful paintings he had collected over the years. The whole place speaks of a lot of love for detail and dedication to fulfilling the guests' needs and wishes. Will come here again. Thank you, Mrs. Lerosier.

Breakfast was served on a table, not in the form of an open buffet but it was quite sufficient. I would advise a greater proportion of greens. Room comfortable and very clean. There is a nice balcony and beautiful view of the garden.
