The hostess and employee were so very kind and helpful. We were welcomed at the airport and hostel in style. We received a lot of useful information about the Island and its people. The breakfast was extensive and tasteful and the best we received compared to other regions in Chile. When we had to leave early the hostess made us a breakfast we could take with us. The location was a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre and situated near a single Moai. It was beautiful and for us ideal. It could have been a bit cleaner for my taste (I’m quite a nag with hygiene), but everything else was so great, that it didn’t detract from our stay. We had such a nice time and will definitely stay here again if we return to the Island.

It’s home far from home. Amazing owners, very helpful, kind and caring. Sonya and Francisco go above and beyond to make their guests really happy and it definitely works. Whole place is really nice with amazing garden, home made breakfast and good amenities. We were lucky to choose hostel Uruhao for our stay on beautiful Easter Island

This hostel is situated in a wonderful location, just a 13-minute walk from the airport. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and given a brief overview of the property. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a bathroom that had plenty of hot water. The living room and kitchen were great additions as well. What truly stood out during my stay was the kindness of the gentleman who managed the property.

The host is very kind and hospitable. The included breakfast is good, during the stay there I felt like I was at the village with my grandmother. The city center is in 30-40 minutes of walking.

Great value for money. It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

Really amazing place...and owners are great people...I'll be back for sure. Everything was clean, nice and comfortable.

Location is great, 5 min walk from the Main Street. Comfortable and clean. Hosts are very friendly. There is a kitchen so you can cook your meals if you would prefer to do it instead of eating out( which is quite expensive)They helped us organise sightseeing with their son who is a registered native guide and also participates in dance performances so we learned a lot about the culture.
