Accommodation is absolutely perfect, very nice and comfortable, as well owners of the apartment are very friendly and professionals in their business, they are offering another services and are very helpful! This is a real Austrian family guesthouse. The owners are extremely helpful. Although the room is not the newest, it is clean and well furnished. The access road is easily accessible even in heavy snow. The guesthouse is within walking distance of the cable car, McDonald's and an excellent Steakhouse... An good option if you want accommodation in the Haus area.

These were the most wonderful and cozy apartments we've ever stayed in. The hosts were amazing and welcoming – we truly felt at home. The place has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's a pity we only stayed for a short time – we already want to come back.

Very nice, modern and spacious apartment. Standalone kitchen, 2 separate bed rooms with nice bathroom. Local host was very friendly and communicative. Haus is near the main road - everything s near if you have a car - grocery store, ski resorts, thermal baths.

The room is spacious, it's like a one bedroom apartment. The view from balcony was amazing, the restaurant at the resort was good, the location of the resort where the reception is, is an amazing location which is at the back of the lake surrounded by mountains on all sides 😊

The room was clean and modern. The location at the end of the gorge was pleasantly peaceful. Having free parking right in front of the house was a big plus, as the village’s public parking spots were full. It was just a short walk to the town center and Salzwelten.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

One of the best decisions we made for our Hallstatt-visit, was booking accommodation at Pension Bergfried. It is located at Hallstatt-Lane, just out of the busy part of the village, but close enough to stroll everywhere - even walking from the ferry-harbour with all of our luggage was not that difficult! The reception-staff were very welcoming and friendly and Anke, our host, super - what a fine lady! Our room (see note below), was bright and clean, decorated minimalistic (which I prefer) but tasteful. Bedding and linen perfect and crisp. The breakfast served in a beautiful spacious dining-room, was superb! Would love to come back one day, or if not, recommend it strongly to stay here.
