Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.

The house was very well equipped and so cosy. We slept really well as the rooms so quiet and dark. The cottages are at the end of a long fairly steep lane, so they really are very peaceful. Even the black faced sheep that amble about around the grassy areas don’t seem to make any noise! There was lots of space for guest parking and with several cottages available to rent this would be a perfect retreat for a group of family or friends. We would definitely recommend to others.

The house is located in very private area which gives lots of privacy. The views from the windows are amazing and the area is beautiful. Beds are really comfortable. kitchen is very well equipped. Aife the host is so nice and helpful. There was great communication with Aoife. Little amenities which ware left in the bathrooms were very useful especially little bobbins :) We had an amazing time in Corrib house. Thank you for having us we will be back :)
