The location was great because we were visiting friends four minutes away. The property was perfectly clean and the breakfast was great. The pool looked very inviting but it was raining. We would certainly return.

Philippe is the perfect, welcoming host. His pre and on-site information is very helpful for being in Poitiers. The building has been restored to a high standard with obvious pride and attention to detail. The garden and falaises in the back are beautiful and captivating. Breakfast was spectacular and presented in such an aesthetically way. We felt privileged to stay here and met other travelers who felt the same. Highly recommended. If it is of concern to you - Philippe speaks perfect English and provides parking if requested.

A hidden gem behind the trees on the property, not far from la Roche-Posay where there are good restaurants. The very friendly host led us through the tower up the stairs to our spacious room with large ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed a swim in the large swimming pool and a stroll in the backyard along the pond. The host has travelled the world and the chateau if filled with beautiful pictures and souvenirs of these travels. Even in the room, seats, curtains, lamps and other decorations are from exotic and closer-by countries. Breakfast completely fitted the ambiance and was more than sufficient.

Lovely chateau and beautiful view from the bedroom. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. We had a very lovely stay. We took a picnic for our dinner as there isn't really anywhere near to eat. Thank you.
