The staff were very friendly and helpful. They located us in a quiet area of the hotel because we traveled with a dog which was great. Easy parking in front of the hotel with plenty of restaurants and shops a 5 minute walk away.

Situated just south of Elmshorn, within the attractive Rosarium Uetersen rose garden, you find this family-run hotel close to the A23 motorway and 30 kilometres northwest of Hamburg.

We stayed here for two nights and were pleased that it was in a beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the park and the lake. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great sized bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on both nights which was excellent! They had a good selection on the menu at very reasonable prices and it overlooked the park and lake which made it a lovely place to dine. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. All the staff (reception, waiters, waitresses and maids) were extremely helpful and friendly. There were a couple of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance and also a couple of petrol stations close by. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I booked this hotel because it has a gym. I believe this gym is just as big as the one in my hometown. It has all the equipment to do a full work out. I didn't had the breakfast included. However, the lady at the reception was kind enough to offer me ice for my cooling box (at no charge). The beds were okay. The parking is close to the entrance of the hotel. If you are for example into body building and you don't want to intermit your training, this hotel is a real bargain in my opinion.
