Because of its location directly on the motorway and only 200 metres from the Italian border, Safir Hotel Casino is a great starting point for many interesting excursions. Possible destinations include Venice, Trieste, the Slovenian coast, the stud at Lipica and the caves of Postojna and Škocjan. Nice and rich breakfast, very nice staff and helpful. Room was cozy and automated via air conditioning. We asked for making up the room and that was very fast. Place is near highway but the building is well built so you wont even notice. We we very happy to stay here. Pets ale welcomed for a fee per night.
