I booked this hotel for my wife's birthday after being referred to it by Swedish friends as the best place to stay in Gotland. It exceeded all my expectations - wonderful location, just the most incredible decor and ambience. The entire hotel is like an artwork, carefully put together and so beautiful. We even had a welcome surpise for my wife's birthday which made her day - honestly, this place should be on your bucket list to stay when in Sweden

Each room at Hotel Helgeand Wisby is individually decorated with designer furniture in solid wood and medieval-themed interior. All have a work desk and satellite TV. Some also feature a luxurious in-room bathtub. Great location and ambience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property

There are 21 rooms, all of which offer lovely light, comfortable beds from Jensen and luxurious bathrooms with limestone details from Gotland. Close to everything in town. The breakfasts were outstanding. All personnel were friendly and cheerful

Our restaurant The Social, the perfect bistro and bar, offers a combination of international bistro classics with a modern twist. Hannah on the front desk was very thorough and went out her way to advise and help organise my time in Visby. A great ambassador
