The hotel has gone through a modernisation and features a rather big spa (indoor and outdoor pools, three different saunas). The highlight for the restaurant was the breakfast although we enjoyed our dinner very much (they book a table just in case for every hotel guest). The rooms we had on the third floor had huge windows overlooking the beautiful coastline. The beds were super comfortable however a tad too soft if you are used with firmer mattresses.

The sea-view restaurant offers modern Nordic fine dining with seasonal ingredients, herbs from the garden and freshly-baked breads. The comprehensive wine list completes the dining experience. The Brasserie offers more casual dining yet still focused on local produce. In the lobby, guests can take a coffee break, browse the reading collection or simply relax. They surprised my husband with small cakes on his birthday the day we arrived which i didn’t expect that they would do that even they said they don’t have package deal for my ideas. But they really made effort with everything greeting card and cakes it was excellent.

Hornbæk Station is just a 2-minute walk away. The staff was lovely...or maybe more. The position amazing ( 5 minutes walking from the see, the supermarket was on the corner...). The terrace is in front of the like and when the sun goes down the atmosphere is unbelievable. The kitchen was Amazing, I would define "bistronomie", Between a bistrot and Michelin star.. AMAZING!
