This hotel represents the highest quality. Everything is new and well maintained. The villas are spacious and beautifully designed. Still, what makes it really special is the service and people that take care of you there. Thanks to their approach you can really enjoy the holiday knowing that they will remember not only your name but also your individual needs like for example diet. Here I would like to mention our individual assistant Beno who was the perfect organizer of our stay at this hotel. Thanks to him I feel we used every hour of our stay and tried everything we wanted. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to rest away from the crowds.

Park Hyatt - Zanzibar This hotel gets an absolute 5 stars from us. Firstly the staff were so welcoming and kind making sure every detail was in place, going over and beyond. Always smiling and greeting us kindly. Thank you guys. The hotel was stunningly beautiful and so was our room. The room was very clean, overlooking the ocean, and we felt very lucky to get an early check in, which was badly needed after the very long flight from Copenhagen. The amenities in the room were 5 star and very beautifully integrated into the Zanzibar styled rooms. The view from the room was amazing and calm and at the same time lively with different types of boats sailing in and people playing on the beach, doing morning yoga, with little to no noise. The food was excellent and the presentation of it, even more so. Among a lot of other things, they had at breakfast table thirst quenching coconut water and the coconut guy was always all smiles and ready to prepare a coconut for us. The omelette guy also made the very best omelettes ever! The staff was very helpful in arranging tours and transportation with a very capable guide (Seif) and a very safe driver (Abdul), the other drivers we tried on the island drove like hell. On our guided tour of historic Stone Town, it became apparent that the highly humid climate of the area enhances intensive mold growth on the buildings, it’s just a part of the towns charm. I do hope though that the Park Hyatt can and will always protect their beautiful building and especially their high class bathrooms from this mold, as there was a moldy smell from the bathroom. The location is on the tip of Stonetown. Beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, boats coming in and out of the port and other islands. The staff were wonderful. Our room was gorgeous with a big wraparound porch and hammock.

There is so much to say about this lovely hotel! The staff members are incredibly kind and always available to assist whenever you need them. They decorated our room for my fiancé’s birthday surprise and even offered us a small bento cake. It was so cute! Regarding the location, the hotel is only about 35 minutes from the airport and close to Paje, but it’s a bit far from the northern part of the island. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and offer a beautiful view of the pool and the beach — especially the Mafia 1 room. The food was delicious, and the scent inside the rooms was simply divine. I was in love with it! Even our clothes came back from the laundry smelling amazing. The spa is cute, and the massage was relaxing — I truly recommend it. The ladies there really know what they’re doing!
