We’ve been visiting Sri Lanka with our family for many years, but very few places have impressed us as much as Splendour Residence. Sure, there might be some minor imperfections here and there – but they’re completely outweighed by how smoothly everything runs and how exceptional the guest care is. The staff is absolutely fantastic – from the owner to every single member of the team. Everyone is kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Our little daughter received such lovely attention and care, and it made the whole stay even more special for us. The food was excellent, and the surroundings – both indoor and outdoor – were beautiful. There is a clear emphasis on space and comfort throughout the property, which we truly appreciated. The entire hotel feels well-thought-out, peaceful, and harmonious. I sometimes give a 10/10 rating on Booking, even when a place has a few flaws that are balanced by other strengths. But Splendour Residence deserves more than just a perfect score. If I could rate it higher, I absolutely would. We even changed our travel plans just to stay a little longer – that’s how much we loved it here. And if we ever return to Sri Lanka, there’s no doubt – we’ll be coming back here.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! It felt like a little slice of paradise. The food was amazing - big shoutout to the chef for the best meals we've had in a while. The beach and hotel were super clean, and we loved chilling on our balcony with that breathtaking sea view. The staff were all great, making our stay even better. This is one of the best places in Sri Lanka. Big nice villa with all required conditions to stay with family : air conditioners, swimming pool, perfect service of the stuff, very nice traditional breakfast and dinner. The staff is good, especially Chef Shyamal is very concerned about preparing our food . Food is very delicious and we had a fantastic breakfast .Before preparing our food chef Shyamal talked to us and made everything according to our needs . It was a comfortable stay with a nice swimming pool.like to visit again.

The most beautiful location, quiet, almost private beach, amazing design, comfortable rooms, nice food and of course, exceptional service, tailored and we really felt cared for. We traveled with our 2 year old that enjoyed the pool and the beach. I also was able to enjoy an amazing full body massage in the beach in the morning.

This hotel is heavenly. It is right on the most perfect beach and surrounded by trees and the occasional wild life. The rooms are large, luxurious and have large private gardens. The staff are well trained with the aim of providing a perfect holiday experience. This was the last of six hotels that we stayed at across Sri Lanka and was by far the best. The chef produced exceptional dishes and reasonably priced. We felt very cared for at Sundara. Thank you.

Very kind owner who does his best to ensure clients satisfaction. If you love art, you should speak to him about it ! He is a passionate collector. The hotel is very clean and spacious. Breakfast could be a little bit better for a 5 star hotel, but still it was delicious. The pool was clean. The very best thing about this hotel is the view you get from your room. Amazing 🤩...

Absolutely superb! Fantastic staff, food and property. The room was gorgeous with incredible views of the ocean, nice modern clean and spacious. Robert and his staff take great care of everyone. The food was top notch, and we loved meeting the chef.
