I was looking for a home base to stay, somewhere central but quiet and with a kitchenette to save on eating out every meal over a 5 night stay. Sojourn was perfect - best of both worlds between an Airbnb and a normal hotel, with 24/7 front desk and daily room cleaning like a hotel but apartment style rooms with kitchen like an Airbnb - and for a very reasonable price.
I was warned at checkin that I had booked the smallest room type, but this was absolutely no problem. Other than having no table to eat at (a bit odd, as there is a kitchen!) it was 100% fine even for a longer stay. Comfy and spotlessly clean, ideal location in walking distance of key attractions and transit, easy checkin and they even include a pass for free access to a nearby fitness club which has a lap pool and sauna plus gym. Would 100% stay here again for any future stays. Bonus: stayed on top floor and had great city views!

The location is perfect for seeing Wellington on foot. It was nice having a balcony. There was plenty of heating. It is very private with a nice outlook over Cuba Street.
