Spacious, private apartment with lots of shops, restaurants and a grocery store within a block or two. Easy 10 minute single tram ride from central station to the apartment. Host was very informative and responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Much larger than we expected and even more beautiful than was described. The hosts were kind, helpful, and did everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The location on Bygdoy is perfect for hiking, sight seeing, walks on the beach, and within a few blocks of a bus that takes you anywhere in Oslo you’d like to go quickly. We absolutely loved it and will stay there anytime we’re nearby. Bygdoy is a true paradise and this apartment was a perfect home away from home.

Our stay at Home Hotel Gabelshus was comfortable and enjoyable, with beautiful interior and exterior design. The quiet neighborhood location made it convenient for us to access bus and tram stations. The staff were friendly, and the food options including breakfast, Fika, and dinner were satisfying. The hotel also offered convenient parking just beside the building, though it needed to be reserved in advance. Overall, our experience was positive at this Oslo hotel.
