It was in such a great location - opposite one of the many canals. Far enough out of the centre of town to be quiet but close enough to enjoy the walk in. There is a market around the corner that runs 6 days a week - not Sundays. In the outer suburbs Sunday is very quiet! There is a wide variety of eating options and bars available. Close to a number of tram lines. Very close to the Heineken experience. If you have the energy, time and curiosity, you can walk to the Anne Frank Museum (must book in advance) and the city centre. These both entail unforgettable walks along the canals and beautiful scenery along the way to your destination. About 30 minutes to each. The staff on reception were very courteous and helpful. Whilst waiting for a taxi they would offer my husband and I a coffee or tea. My husband said it was the best Latte he had had for a long time! Such thoughtful service! Thank you. Room was serviced each day therefore very clean. Location is fantastic. Cannot fault.

Good breakfast, close to the city center, a supermarket nearby, friendly staff. You can walk almost anywhere from this hotel but there is also a metro and tram station nearby. We had a room with a view on the back and it was very quiet.

Beautiful hotel in De Pijp, excellent location for foodies! Loved the holiday decorations. Excellent staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful, and smiling! The room was very comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights, the first couple of days, it was hard to leave the bed because it was so cozy. We liked the idea of having a separate shower - very practical. Very trendy Izakaya restaurant on site. We looked through a lot of hotels and air bnbs based on space, comfort, location, amenities, price, and overall rating. This is definitely a gem! Would love to come back here again. Look no further.....
