Everything is amazing in this hotel. I stayed in a family room, japanese style, very traditional. What a comfortable room, clean, very well equipped and with several ammenities. The breakfast is fantastic with 3 choices, but I'd suggest the japanese one to close with a full japanese experience. Finally, the staff is so lovely and very attentives with everything. A special thank to this amazing team.

Everything was amazing. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The kitchenette was well stocked and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As for the breakfasts - they were superb! The location is great too just across the road from the train station. We thoroughly recommend the Relax Hotel in Takayama and would stay here again for sure.

The owners are so sweet! They gave us matcha tea when we arrived!
The ryokan is stunning! Amazing decoration in every single place! We love the onsen! Everything Is extra clean and tidy!
I told one of the owner (lady) it was really cold outside and when we get back to the room was blankets and the kettle ready to drink our tea! (In the room was before ready tea pot and cups).
I forgot my necklace in the room and the owners send me a messenge but I was already in Tokyo for the next day take flight to get back home. They were amazing and send to me the necklace to Australia !

very friendly staff, everything worked very well - dinner set up, making up the room for sleeping, etc. the food was excellent, beds were super comfortable, onsen was lovely and quiet - we were alone. great location. would recommend and stay again!

The onsite bath was amazing, super big took about an hour to fill. Your very on onsen. I have been to many places and never had a private bath this big!
