Excellent hotel in the middle of Kyoto. The hotel is new, just opened, very beautiful, great style, combining modern and classic japanese style
Rooms are very big (!!!), very wide, a lot of space next to beds, size that is not common even for Europe, letalone for Japan (we had a room for three). Price is also very very good. Personnel super profy, the whole place has a super cool vibe. We also stayed in Kyoto at another hotel, at the same price, and they don't even begin to compare. Also very close (10 min walk or less) to Teramachi shopping street, and Nishiki market.

Very new hotel and room facilities. Location is very convenient to visit major tourist attractions in Kyoto. Outstanding services standard can be felt and seen in the hotel restaurant, public bath and fitness facilities. It’s 10 out of 10 experience for us.

We loved everything about our stay. Even if the Japanese style room was small for 4 adults + hand luggage, we made it work and felt comfortable - the beds can be folded up in the morning to create more space, as in the picture.
The staff also kindly showed us how to open the bedroom window, as it got quite warm in the room. The breakfast options were great, as was the free sake by the bar! Honestly it was a great stay & great value for money.

didn't have the breakfast.
the staff was very nice and tried hard to be helpful. kept very clean. the location was in a very upscale nook in town and quick to walk to tourist destinations. the bathroom was very chic and bedding very comfortable.
