The situation of the hotel is perfect, next to Shijo station and Kawaramachi Station so near Kyoto station and the trains for Osaka, Kobe, Nara, … The staff is very friendly and speaks english. The room was small as expected but everything is very well organized and enough for 2 people with 2 luggages. It was clean, there are a lot of amenities on the lobby. The free coffee of the machine in the lobby was very tasty. The hotel has a good vibe, the sake degustation is a good idea. I didn’t taste the breakfast but it seems complete. There are a lot of options for bars and restaurants in the area.

The location was really great. Walking distance to a lot of the big attractions, a ton of shopping and restaurants. The staff was also amazing and having a washer/dryer in the room made this a perfect stop!
