That was my little treat during my trip and it was amazing. The house has been restored as new but keeps its traditional soul you feel like going back on time in the Edo period. The owners were so kind, patient and welcoming that I felt like home in Japan. The private room is impeccable with a touch of modernity. I wish to come back and stay longer for more discussion and sake! Arigato !

The hotel is a small boutique hotel located by Kamogawa river, close to subway and Eizan railway. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. I have been to Kyoto many times but staying at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa had definitely made this trip even more enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel provides different local sweets and snacks everyday in the room so it’s always a surprise what I come back and find. The amenities in the room is well equipped with superb quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Kyoto and wish to stay somewhere away from the busy downtown. Look forward to stay here again in the future. PS. Crosta deliver my luggage to the hotel since I arrived very early in the morning. Then it’s hassle free to wander around without dragging the luggage to the hotel before check-in time. I stayed for more than two weeks at the hotel. I had a great stay. The bathroom and shower room were always perfectly cleaned. The people working there were very nice and helpful. The bedding was comfortable. And the hotel is very calm.

agoThis is by far the best hotel i have ever stayed at. Beautiful hidden gem The room was spacious and having your own private onsen was amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful. Pros: - hotel looks so pretty and has that traditional Japanese style -Spacious room, clean and looks so neat. -arrival little sweets - you have all the stuff you need in this hotel including makeup removes, facial toners and serum. -private onsen. -beds are super comfortable -staff are helpful and friendly -able to send your luggage to your next destination - 15 mins walk from the station - there are cafes and familymart nearby. Thank you for having us. We had the best time staying at your hotel.
