The room is a typical and charming Sassi. It is very clean and the bathroom new; the shower was also great. All the staff are very polite and available for any question! The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere and see everything from there. Even so, the room was very quiet — we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. They also helped us with parking, which was incredibly convenient! The breakfast was amazing.

A lot of options on your breakfast. Every staffs I met during the stay were absolutely friendly and helpful. Fast response whenever i sent the messages which i am super appreciate. The Spa better needs to reserved in advanced (the maximum capacity is 8 guests in an hour).

We had a lovely one night stay in the queen suit after a last minute decision to extend our stay in Matera. The suit is very spacious with stunning views from every window. The service was great! Even though we booked it so late minute, the owners helped with check in as soon as possible and offered to assist us with tours and restaurant recommendations and reservations. The shower and bed were very comfortable. It was lovely to have a drink/breakfast on the little patio, staring at the gorgeous sassi. It has all the amenities for a very comfortable stay, including a hair dryer, much-needed air conditioning and small coffee/breakfast station with toast and jam, juice, water and coffee. The location is fantastic, near all the main sights. I would however advise to pack light as there are still a few steps that you need to take and the steers of Matera are quite slippery. Just note, as advertised there is no WiFi in the rooms, only the reception area. Just note that the Google maps location is wrong. Thankfully the owners will arrange to meet you at a meeting point and take you to the accommodation.
