Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. If you’re visiting Ubud, this is the place to go—you won’t regret it. We’re already dreaming of coming back someday! Francesca, Vincenzo and baby Elia from Italy!

This hotel exceeded my every expectation. I have never stayed at better hotel. Amazing Bali/Asia meets Scandinavian design, gardens are beautiful, pool area is large and didn’t get crowded in pool even though it is open for outside guests, staff always attending out for our every need, food was exquisite - everyhing we ordered was an oooh aaaah. The just as amazing breakfast is served a la carte - where one normal and one sweet option is included, but also with a fresh buffet. We used the hotel shuttle to Ubud and also had the same driver Tana take us on the half day Journey for your soul excursion - with rise fields, temple, jungle swing, coffee tasting and waterfall, which was a perfect way to explore a lot in short time and with full service and guide along the way. SPA was in line with all of the above. We extended our stay and didn’t really want to leave. When we left to travel home we forgot our passports got super fast and safe help from the hotell sending it to us where we were at. We recommend at least 5 days here.

Magnificient hotel in Ubud. One of the best hotel I ever stayed in my entire life. The staff is so friendly and kindful, they didn't allow us to carry even 1 bag, they took care of all of our luggage. They welcomed us with a hot towel and delicious welcome drink. The rooms were spacious and very luxurious with all of the facilities we can think of (they even provided flip-flops and mosquito repellent). The view of the jungle is fascinating. You can enjoy having a hot bath with that incredible view from your room. The breakfast was very delicious with different varieties. We really enjoyed the free homemade cookies they gifted us on the second night of our stay. We enjoyed the stunning view while swimming in the infinity pool, we even ordered a floating breakfast and it was such amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone visiting Ubud, you will not regreat your stay in Jannata, I promise!

The reason why we wanted to come Bali was the nature, peace and quite. Abisena Resort was the right choice to experience this. Resort is little bit far away from Ubud center so it is the perfect spot to be away from all the chaos and crowded. All of the staff was very helpful and kind. They helped us even in the times we did not need to. Hotel's facilities are exactly like shown in the pictures. We stayed at one of the river suites. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We got room cleaning every day. Staff brought us different snacks and cookies almost every evening. Breakfast was amazing. For couple of evenings we ate at restaurant and the dinner was also very good. Menu has varioty options from local food to western food. In the last night of our stay there was a special balinese ceremony at the resort. Ami from staff gave us very precious informations about balinese culture and explained us the rituals. Special thanks to her again 💕 The only negative feedback that i can say is internet connection was really bad at downstair rooms. But it was not that much of a problem for us. Overall our stay was amazing from very beginning to end. They even gave me departing gift at checkout. If we ever come to bali again we definetly will stay at Abisena again.

Beautiful accommodation among the rice fields. There is a restaurant where they cook excellently. There is a small swimming pool at the accommodation. We were very satisfied here and you are within walking distance of Ubud. The hotel also offers a transfer to Ubud and back.

We absolutely liked our stay in the Lokha ubud hotel. The staff was extremely polite and going above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. We received beautiful surprise from the hotel for our daughter's birthday. They decorated the bath with flowers and made beautiful decoration in the bed with the surprise cake. We tried the floating breakfast and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Thanks a lot for making our holiday unforgettable.

Super comfy bed, amazing shower and the pool is out of this world. Beautiful sunrise and the staff are brilliant. Quiet area which is bliss, the nicest villa I have stayed in! Floating breakfast was delicious
