Check-in set the tone: reception was professional and genuinely warm. The lobby is beautiful, with a cinematic theme that nods to the building’s past. Classic movie-star photos and even a “red carpet” down the stairs. Our room was spacious and spotless; each room is dedicated to a film star (ours was Kirk Douglas), and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was rich and varied with lovely service. Tasty options and made-to-order omelets. In the evenings, the dining room turns into a restaurant, which is convenient because there aren’t many dining options in the area at night. The underground paid parking is very handy (best to reserve in advance).

Beautiful facilities, restaurant, gym and laundry! Rooms were basic but clean. It is really close to a bus stop so quick and easy to get into town. Lovely stay and would highly recommend.
