We chose this hotel for our first trip to South America because we had brilliant experiences with a Swissotel in Izmir, Turkey - and we couldn't have made a better choice! Wonderful spacious suite with breathtaking fews, a fantastic pool, hall, bar, the executive lounge with lovely food and drink and an even better few - I don't even know where to start. It was all wonderful, but the best bit is the staff. Everybody is helpful, patient, so friendly and helpful that you feel like royalty. Especially the wonderful people at the executive lounge and at the reception deserve a mention - and the gentleman by the lift who always helped my wive finding her way. And the gorgeous people in the Spanish restaurant ... and and and. This hotel is a treat. Don't miss it!

The place was really clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing! They let us leave our bags in storage when we went to the Amazon. Twice we had to wait in Quito for night buses. They let us wait in the hotel after checkout which made our stay so much more comfortable. Would highly recommend this place!

Hotel Chakana, es un hotel Chakana Mariscal Hotel, an Andean Hotel. An Andean cultural proposal in the tourist area of Quito. Precise location, to go to the north or center of the city. Family and friendly hotel, the small spaces make me feel like family. The treatment of the staff is the best of all. Good full breakfast, and a restaurant with Andean food, unique in the sector. Cleanliness is magnificent. Our room with Jacuzzi was ready, with hot water, soaps, towels and other amenities. We received tourist information about Quito, thanks to Ivonne who helped us organize our trip and sent us taxis. I will return to Chakana Hotel Mariscal soon.

If you choose the Mariscal area ,it is one of your best option ,in my opinion. It is like visiting relatives , who you don’t know for the first time and they are opening their house to you. It is a medium sized quest house , with character and you get this hospitable feeling which you can’t get from the bigger hotels or hotel brands . The breakfast is really nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The owners are wonderful and are very welcoming. The breakfast is super healthy. The rooms are well Equiped for my stay. The location is great too and safe and close to Plaza Foch. A short walk to the metro near the park.. It's so peaceful and can get a good night 's sleep. I would definitely recommend this place. I spent a very comfortable 6 days here and felt like home.
