As our trip was very close to the Oktoberfest dates, most hotels in Munich were either sold out or too expensive. Hotel im Bunker was a very good alternative, with an S-Bahn (surface metro train) station just 2 minutes away, a very good supermarket even closer, restaurants, parking, etc.

I liked the room, spacious shower and toilet! Nice modern renovation! The room smells new and the renovation is modern.The room is clean!I especially liked the bed with the memory foam mattress!The room had a smart TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. The interior was inviting and reminded us of our home! It was very cozy and pleasant to be at home!We were filled with a feeling of coziness and comfort! I wanted to feel like I was in my own home! Great view from the window! Beautiful windows to the floor!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. I made a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight and was cold and tired by the time I arrived. The staff were super-friendly. My luggage was lost and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed including a phone charger. The hotel and the room itself were both spotless. I booked the junior suite which was a good size with a large lounging area and a work space. Had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. The included breakfast was incredibly good, a large variety of foods and a really good quality. The jam in particular was really fruity and seemed handmade. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is a very good hotel outside of city centre of Munich. The room was big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower can be a bit better. Wi-Fi is very good. The breakfast is full of options. If you like walking such as I do, the Center is 45 minutes away on foot. They have secure parking. Above all staff is amazing.

This family-run hotel enjoys a quiet location in Planegg, a 25-minute drive from central Munich.
