Pandora Vista Retreat was truly a highlight of our trip. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Zhangjiajie. The hospitality was exceptional — Linda, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. She greeted us with genuine warmth, helped us plan our itinerary with a hand-drawn map, and even organised pick-up and drop-off services to fit our short schedule. When it started raining, staff immediately brought us umbrellas. It genuinely felt like staying with family — so welcoming, kind, and attentive to every detail.

This is wonderful cozy hotel, the rooms are clean and have everything you need. Good location, close to all the attractions. Good breakfast. But the main diamond of this hotel is the assistant at the reception, whose name is Lee, very honest and nice person , we wanted to express our deep gratitude to him for his attention to us, for his help, advice and recommendations, without him our trip would not have been so comfortable.
Thank you owner Chen and cleaning/cooking lady who made it feels like home.

The hotel is next to Boafeng lake and close to the national park. The hotel offered us a free shuttle for our visot to the park and airpoet. They were very proactive in helping us plan our trip by making suggestions and helping us with the tickets. The staff was so helpful it was amazing!

The location is in a quiet area very close to one of the main attractions (the entrance to the Zhangjiajie national forest park which holds the"Avatar peaks", the glass bridge and so on). The host was very kind and helpful (offered to help us get tickets for the attractions, drove us to the entrance of the park), she even gave us some very good "moon cakes" for the ride as we left. Everything was nice and we would come back again 🙂

Emer, the owner and main staff is absolutely amazing! She is friendly, helpful, proactive, knowledgeable and efficient. She helped us book our tickets without charging an additional fee, helped us program our day based on the amount of time we each had and even assisted in booking local regular buses to the main attractions. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Environment was excellent and there were many shops and small restaurants nearby, which was convenient. Free water refills at reception.
