Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!

I had an incredible stay at this Li River scenic area hotel in Yangshuo! Housed in a renovated old building, it seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern comfort. During summer, the on-site pool was a refreshing oasis, allowing me to cool off while surrounded by stunning views. The hotel's tranquil atmosphere provided a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The staff went the extra mile, crafting detailed and personalized travel plans that helped me explore the area's hidden treasures. And the food? Authentic local dishes bursting with flavor—each meal was a delightful culinary adventure. I can't recommend this place enough.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The nearby scenery is beautiful. The famous 20yuan peaks are Just nearby and the ancient city where you can buy food and souvenirs. The owner is a geologist who can share a lot of knowledge about the local landscape.

Yangshuo Shui Mo Ju is a cute guesthouse across the river on the quieter end of town. We loved the tastefulness of the decorations, recommendations for activities to do, quality of the food and helpfulness of the staff. Above all the view from our room was exquisite and made for a calming feel throughout our time.

Laojia, a Qing dynasty house is located in Xingping, just 25 miles from Mopanshan Passenger Wharf and 31 miles from Yangshuo South Bus Station.
