1. Very convenient for its location to be very near to many tourist spot. 2. Staffs were very friendly, not to mention there was a Malaysia staff that made us feel home. 3. This hotel has excellent service - consistent and genuine dedication to their guests. Congratulations. You leave this place with new friends. Joy an awesome manager, Warren, Leo at reception, my favourites Sarah and Jake, and Lily and Mark the room concierges. Truly amazing people. I felt good here. The location is brilliant, one street from everywhere. Good to see Thomas the General Manager walking the floor. All so impressive. Other hotels should come here to learn.

Having been going to Shanghai in the past 20 years and have stayed at many five star hotels, I now think Puli Hotel & Spa is my favourite hotel for its impeccable facilities and thoughtful service. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, from the bell boys to receptionists to bar tenders. Also, I had the best margarita mixed by Eden, a brilliant, young and pleasant mixologist at the bar.

Despite the check-in time being late at night, they were kind and accommodating. Also, whenever I had an issue, they responded quickly and helped right away. The location was also close to the busy downtown area, and it felt safe.

We had a great stay at Donghu. The hotel had a lot of charm, everything was clean. We had fresh water, tea and coffe everyday. We booked the business room which was spacious enough for us to stay 5 nights. The location is close to a lot of cute shops and restaurants. The metro is about a 15 min walk. I recommend to prepare some phrases in Chinese, as most of the staff doesn’t speak English. However we never had any issues, as they were very helpful.
