Joy and Keith were wonderful hosts. We have tried a few different configurations for our family of 5 but found this worked the best of anything we have done to date. Private, scenic and well located (30 minutes either way will have you seen everything the Goldy has to offer), we had everything we needed for our short holiday (with Joy and Keith going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more). Breakfast is top notch and extremely generous, a great way to start the day. We also made good use of the pool while we were there, which has a beautiful view overlooking the water, and were able to feed some frequenting swans - an unexpected bit of fun for our kids. If you are planning a family holiday and need a base to plan your trip around, this is a perfect location and in our view, is a significantly better option than staying at a similarly priced apartments which do not offer the space, privacy and personalised touch of this accommodation.

Mermaid Waters is conveniently located in a secluded location, just 0.6 mi from the beachfront and close to Jupiters Casino and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center. Free WiFi is provided.

The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.
