Situated at the Sea Point Promenade facing the Atlantic coastline, The Winchester Hotel features a pool and an Italian-style courtyard surrounded by palm trees and fountains.

With original Cape Dutch décor, all air-conditioned rooms and suites at The Winchester Hotel come with satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. A bathrobe is available in each modern bathroom. Most rooms feature sea or mountain view and some face the Italian piazza style Courtyard. I suggested my brother and sister in law, visiting from the USA, stay at the Winchester. It’s a grand dame, but not ostentatious. Very well situated, enjoyed a morning walk on the promenade. Easy access to where they wanted to visit. I have had breakfasts and teas with you, never stayed, it was a real treat, thank you

The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!
