The air-conditioned rooms are carefully decorated and equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, a telephone, heating and a private bathroom. We returned here after nine years. Still as good as it was. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet. Good breakfast with reasonable selection for a small hotel. Rita the manager is very friendly and super helpful. Nice to have the swimming pool too. Great views across the vineyards to Estremoz in the distance. Short drive into a town with plenty of restaurants and cafes.

The guesthouse consists a two-bedroom family suite, a double room, a single room, all with private bathroom with shower, and a communal lounge area with free tea-coffee services and a library. On the property are also two apartments features a living area, kitchen, one or two bedroom(s) and a bathroom with shower. * Very kind, helpful hosts/proprietors, who are available to let you in at the gate when you first arrive and call them. They also explain "rules" of the property clearly and show you to your room, and check if you are interested in arranging a breakfast / other meal for an additional fee. * Beautiful property exactly as described (there are plenty of animals around the property) * A small part of the house is available at night-time, only for access to some paid food+drink the hosts make available (wine, beer, some food), as well as some free food items (cake, water, possibly coffee, I believe) * I had a car and parking was very easy as well. In my case, I was able to park right in front of my building.

The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. This restored property has comfortable rooms in an ancestral environment in the Portuguese Interior and includes a shop selling regional products. Joao and Branca were so lovely people, that I enjoyed my stay even haven fallen ill. The house is furnished with taste, the breakfast is rich and the house is well located. With the two souls inside I felt like at home. Thank you very much for the stay.
