Hacienda Plaza de Armas has rooms with carpeted floors, tasteful wood furnishings and flat-screen TVs. All private bathrooms offer free toiletries, marble fittings and baths. The room was very warm and the shower had nice hot water. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Definitely recommend.

It also has a sky room restaurant with panoramic views of Titicaca lake, which is a 5-minute drive away. The hotel has a vintage look which I liked. The room was clean and has also a radiator which is useful during the night. It is close to the main plaza where you cand find some nice restaurants. By 10 min walking you can also find a market and supermarket.

The room is cozy and not too cold (for Peruvian standards in winter). The host was incredibly kind, he helped us by keeping our backpacks all day long and with recommendations. Breakfast was also rich and tasty.

Taypikala Hotel Lago boasts recently refurbished Colonial style galleries and a spacious lobby with interior plants, polished parquet floors and elegant cream-coloured sofas. Had a really nice stay here. The staff were great. Not very busy when we were here. Good value. Great location.
