Hugh was wonderful! He gave us all kinds of great recommendations on what to see and do. Loved chatting with him. The suite was soo nice - cute, very private, really spotless. Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

Housed in a building dating from 2010, this apartment is 1.3 km from the Cathedral Cove. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The hosts, Ray and Ngairene, were wonderful. A charming and very helpful couple. Ngairene met me on arrival and gave me a tour of the apartment. On two occasions, my hosts gave me a ride to the Cathedral Cove trailhead. There is no parking at the trailhead; drop-off only, and this saved me a long, steep hike before tackling the trail. I was allowed to use their laundry facilities, which was much appreciated. Anyone visiting the Hahei area could do no better than to stay at the Cathedral Cove Apartment. Kia Ora!

Featuring bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with DVD player. Every room has a patio with garden views. Harvey and Sue were such kind, incredible hosts. Their home was so cozy and they made us feel so welcomed. The house was clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Highly recommend staying with them!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, The Nunnery is a recently renovated guest house situated in Te Aroha, 50 km from University of Waikato. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The guest house has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Lovely, comfortable beds and carpeted floors. All the basic necessities provided ie. Towel, shampoo and soap. Other guests there were friendly and nice to spend time with in the communal area which had games and books to use. Tairua Shores Motel enjoys a harbourside location close to the Tairua Wharf, and it takes 2 minutes to drive to the town center or a 10-minute beach walk overlooking Mt Paku and Tairua Harbour. It offers barbecue facilities, laundry services, free on-site parking, free WiFi access, beach towels and shovels. The view was amazing. It's well equipped and very good for family. The host is very nice and helpful.

Guests enjoy free parking and free unlimited WiFi throughout their stay. Very comfortable room, good bed and quiet. This allowed us to have a great nights sleep that we really appreciated. The room was clean and appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The host provided info on nearby restaurants and those who deliver. There is on-site parking that is included in the stay.

Situated in a secluded tree-lined setting far from traffic noise, these chalets are ideal for discovering the Coromandel Peninsula's stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, and diverse arts and crafts. It was a beautiful, spacious cottage. Great views and the service was lovely

The modern units have either lake, mountain or pool views and all include a spa bath and a well-equipped kitchenette. Modern amenities include air conditioning and TV reception. We loved the friendly front desk staff, spacious apartment, and great warm pool and hot tub with a view of the lake from our balcony.

Coromandel Seaview Motel is situated between the mountains and the sea of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is close to renowned saltwater fishing and a number of outdoor activities.

All of the spacious, refurbished rooms have a balcony and a private BBQ free parking on site. It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived at the motel, so I didn't expect much, just wanted a room to take a bath and a bed so I could take some rest. But this was far beyond my expectations. The hosts were so kind that they didn't just only give us good advice on how to plan our visit in the peninsula the next day, but also took us to the perfect spots to take pics of sunset. The view of the motel was great, but the places they took us to were just awesome. The next morning, I was waken up by the sunrise from the sea and it was just fantastic. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped. It takes 3 mins to drive to the town so it's convenient and quiet. Definitely would stay here again if I visit the peninsula again.
