Set in a 15th-century building, Prinsenhof offers individually decorated rooms. It features the Prinsenhof Gardens, a renaissance-style courtyard with a landscaped rose and herb garden.

The modern rooms at Prinsenhof include a seating area with a flat-screen TV. A minibar with complimentary drinks and snacks and an Nespresso machine are in each. Some have wooden-beamed ceilings, while others offer views of the garden or Martini Tower. Awesome helpful staff, beautifully renovated place, dogs very welcome, good parking option (just a bit more for valet), very close to all attractions in downtown Groningen. Will definitely return and recommend!

Located in Groningen, near Simplon Music Venue and Martini Tower, the historic B&B Pakhuis Emden features a garden. The property has garden views and is 300 metres from Graphic Museum Groningen and 400 metres from New Market Groningen. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space for guests. Carla was an exceptional host and it was only a pity we weren't able to stay longer to truly enjoy the beautiful garden (with blooming tulips and fritillaries) and more of Groningen. The main room and kitchen area were sizeable and pleasant. The bathroom was sensibly and stylishly updated. The breakfast was the usual in the Netherlands with hard-boiled eggs, cheeses and croissants and buns, yogurt, some fruit, everything you might expect and she served it when we requested it through the internal phone line. It was conveniently located to the centre of Groningen.

The bed might be a little too soft of some people but we had a good night's sleep. Cappuccino in the brasserie in the morging was great. Friendly staff. Very clean.

Martini Hotel Centre is situated in a monumental building and lies in the city centre of Groningen. The Grote Markt and many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We had to get our room at 15.00, but at 12.00 it was ready. It was perfect. The staff was polite and helpful. They told us about sightseeing in Groningen and gave us a map. The hotel is situated in the heart of Groningen, and you can walk to all the districts of the city.
