Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. Amazing heritage setting. Such a beautiful and interesting hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious and plentiful. Our loft room was super quirky (loved the light fitting and decor- see photos), quite large, the bed was comfy and there were books in it- which I always love! Staff were so helpful with personal suggestions for places to eat and see. A lovely touch to offer a take out breakfast for our early flight home too. Thanks for an amazing stay in your fantastic city- We loved it!

There were plenty of dining options. We were particularly fond of Farquhar’s Bar for cocktails. Its location made it easy to get around by foot.

The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 30-minute drive away. Noordin Mews is situated a 5-minute walk from Komtar and 1st Avenue. Heritage Area is a 10-minute walk from the hotel while Gurney Drive is a 15-minute drive away. Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. A beautiful hidden gem in the heart of George Town. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast delicious, Judy and Ruby simply lovely ❤️ love this place

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. Great location with easy access to Georgetown attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was very quaint, bed was extremely comfortable. The downstairs restaurant was a bonus and wonderful food. Lovely upstairs outside area to enjoy a drink and chat to fellow travellers.

Beautiful rooms with amazing view! We love it
