Villa Kale is a lovely new facility, designed and decorated in a traditional, authentic style. It has a dominant location in the heart of Ohrid's old part. A big stone terrace with a seating area is available at the Villa. Wherever you look, there is a breathtaking view of Lake Ohrid, the old town and the ancient theatre. It was phenomenal. The host was super kind and he spoke fluent English. He even offered to give us information about the city, checkpoints, an itinerary and lots of advice about what to avoid and where to go. He was very friendly. The room was very cosy and clean. They clean the rooms every morning, which was very pleasantly surprising! It was very spacious for two people. The bed was very comfy, the sheets were tidy, the towels were very clean too. We had free toiletries as well. The view from the balcony was exceptional. You could see the fortress, the ancient theater, the lake and the mountains at the same time. The location was also convenient, easy to get to by car and we had free parking available which is hard to find in Ohrid. The location was close to lots of different monuments and super close to the city center. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the place. You can pay by card which is also amazing as a foreign tourist.

Located directly on the promenade along Lake Ohrid and only 300 metres from Ohrid’s Old Town, City Palace Hotel offers a restaurant and free WiFi access. The spa area can be used at an additional cost. We had a very nice room with the balcony overlooking the Ohrid lake. Everything was perfect - the room, the staff, the breakfast, the parking place, the location.

All units are air-conditioned and have a flat-screen TV and a balcony with views of Lake Ohrid. There is also a kitchen in some of the units, fitted with a dishwasher and oven and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer in every unit. Each unit is facing Ohrid Lake. Excellent stay. Location is few minutes from main road up to hill. Parking is in the front of place. We took 2nd floor apartment and view was stunning. There is terrace where you can enjoy cup of coffee or glass of wine. And ofc bonus are great sunsets every night over the Ohrid lake. Up to hill (6 min walk trough the old village) from apartment is great restaurant for breakfast/dinner with also stunning view. Recommend the Velestovo House to all passengers who want take a proper rest outside the crowd and traffic jam.

Built in the traditional local style, the property is equipped with authentic furniture and handmade carvings. Great location in the heart of the old city. There were very few guests, so we got a free upgrade of our room with a beautiful view on the lake. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was fine. The staff was nice and friendly. And a lovely cat Mike at the reception will definitely make your day better!
