Ryad Bab Berdaine

A 15-minute walk from Bab Mansour Door, Ryad Bab Berdaine offers B&B accommodation with free Wi-Fi. It features a terrace with panoramic views of the Medina and a patio with traditional wall tiles and pot-planted plants. The room had a lot of space. Breakfast was delicious.

The building has been restored in an Andalusian style, using hand-made mosaics and sculpted plaster. Each guest room is uniquely decorated, has air conditioning and includes free Wi-Fi access. Some rooms have a private terrace. The personnel was extremely kind, making us feel right at home, and allowed us to have a look at how the amazing food is being prepared. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. While the riad is not directly in the medina, you can reach it on foot within a three minute walk, and its location allows you to park at very close proximity if you are travelling by car. We absolutely recommend it!

Riad Yacout, which dates from 1830, offers a patio with a pond and a solarium on its terrace. It is located in the heart of the Meknes Medina, a 2-minute walk from El Heddim Place, the Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
The guest rooms and suites at the Riad Yacout are spacious and air-conditioned. They include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, en suite facilities and authentic decor.
We loved the location and friendly staff - the breakfast was the best and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Fes

A little palace that celebrates the beauty of Moroccan architecture. Each corner and piece of furniture is a designed with Historical thoughts. Lovely staff and town!

Staying with Zakia felt like staying with a local friend or family! She was the most kind and welcoming person. We didn’t speak the same language but that didn’t matter the slightest, we could always make ourselves understood with a little help of google. If you want to experience how locals really live in Morocco, this is the perfect opportunity. The creative traditional interior design by itself is an experience worth taking. We were also served wonderful breakfast and our additional requests were fulfilled without any extra charge.

Riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, although if you come by car it’s not a problem at all, there is a guarded parking (20 dirham per night) 5 minutes away and you don’t need to drive through the narrow streets to get there. Juliette is an excellent host, communication was perfect, she quickly answered all our questions. The interior design is beautiful and keeps the soul of the place, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it’s quiet at night. For those travelling during winter, it was also warm.
