This is a lovely hotel in the centre of the Galle Fort area. Huge rooms with high ceilings. Helpful staff. We asked for a late check out as we had a late flight but they were fully booked. Nevertheless, we were able to shower at about 5pm in one of the rooms before it was occupied, which was very kind of the hotel. The food was also very good

Camellia Dwelling was a dream to stay at! Very central to restaurants, ATMs, beach and mart. The spacious room had everything we needed- fresh water from the properties well, comfortable bed, hot shower, a fridge, aircon and fan. Paddy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and kind. We had a delicious breakfast every day looking out onto the pristine garden. His staff were always helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to this clean and wonderful property. Thank you for everything.

L’établissement Fort de 19 Villa - Galle Fort bénéficie d’un emplacement attractif dans le centre de Galle. I recently stayed at this charming homestay located within the historic Galle Fort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the fort, with easy access to its cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and delicious restaurants. However, the real highlight of this place is its stunning rooftop. The rooftop offers one of the breathtaking sunset views I’ve ever seen, specially you can enjoy lot of people hanging around on holidays with their family & friends , watch locals playing cricket , see people sitting enjoying the sun set on the wall & some even flying kites on the ramparts along with the sunset which is RARE. Every evening, I found myself eagerly heading up to watch the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples as the sun dipped below the horizon. The panoramic view of the fort, the ocean, and the surrounding area made it feel like a private paradise. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a good book after a day of exploring. My room was beautiful & perfect with the Balcony & it had everything you want to make your stay comfortable. Comfy bed & water pressure was great. It had 2 large French windows which gives a bright light to the room. The homestay itself is cozy and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips about the area. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of fantastic cafes and eateries within walking distance, so it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to stay in Galle Fort, this homestay is an excellent choice. The rooftop alone is worth the stay, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves a good sunset view. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

Situé à côté de la plage d'Unawatuna, le Sergent House occupe une villa de caractère à l'architecture coloniale datant des années 1800. A beautiful stay, elegantly designed and decorated, very tasteful… the people are very friendly… the pool was beautiful. Can’t go wrong.

Sri Lanka chef-d'œuvre architectural Dunes Unawatuna hôtel est un hôtel de caractère respectueux de l'environnement près de la belle plage d'Unawatuna (100 mètres / 5 minutes à pied). L endroit est superbe, calme. Nous avons été accueillies avec gentillesse et professionnalisme. A 2 pas de la rue principale et pourtant pas un bruit extérieur. Nous avons eu la chance d être dans une chambre luxueuse avec 2 lits simples très confortables (voyage à 2 amies). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Une belle bâtisse ancienne avec beaucoup de cachet.

We were greeted with large refreshing smoothies,which was a nice welcome. It is a tiny place, only four rooms in a lovely period house with a small garden and a view to the ramparts and the sea. Our room was huge with a big bed and a good bathroom. We were very well looked after by Sunil and Ibram. We have never before had such huge plates of gorgeous tropical fruits at breakfast, which was all delicious. It is a wonderful little oasis in the Fort just near Flagstaff Rock.

The entire staff took perfect care of us, from room service, to the pool, the pool attendant, the chef who personally asked how we wanted to prepare the food, the reception and especially the hotel manager, who, for example, prepared a great dinner of fresh fish, seafood and their typical dishes for us within the hotel at our request. He always helped us with all our questions and wishes. The hotel is in a quiet place, when we were walking around the city, this hotel is ideally located. Since we want to return to Sri Lanka and travel, we will include this hotel in our places where we will stay and relax.
